Changeways – Group Class for Depression

 In this program, which is run by one of our Mental Health team members, we will provide information about skills and strategies that help with a wide variety of concerns (including depression), and help you apply these ideas in your own life at your own pace.

 

Our Team Includes:

  • Your family doctor
  • Behavioural Health Consultant and/or Mental Health Therapist

 

How it Works:

  • Changeways is a 6 week long program based in the Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) framework and aims to help adults address stress, anxiety and depression. Changeways aims to help individuals challenge their negative and distorted thinking styles, overcome feelings of stress and anxiety and learn ways to boost their mood, create a healthy lifestyle and build a good support network. 
  • Participants create and practice weekly goal setting in a supportive and mutually accountable group.

 

Who is this class for?

  • Anyone 18 years of age or older who would like to learn strategies to manage symptoms of depression. No referral is required.
