DESCRIPTION:Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Anxiety Therapy Group\n\n\n\n\nLearn practical skills to manage anxiety\, unhook from difficult thoughts\, and build a life guided by what matters most.  Our Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Group is designed to help you develop a new relationship with anxiety and difficult emotions. Rather than trying to eliminate uncomfortable thoughts and feelings\, ACT teaches skills to help you respond to them more effectively while taking meaningful steps toward the life you want to live. \nOur Team Includes:\n\nYour family doctor\nBehaviourial health consultants\n\n\nHow it works:\nThe program is divided into three sequential sessions\, each building on the last: \n     ACT 1 (2 Weeks): Understanding Anxiety & Introduction to ACT \n\nLearn how anxiety works and why it persists.\nGain an introduction to the core principles of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.\nBegin developing skills to respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions.\n\nACT 2 (3 Weeks): Cognitive Fusion \n\nExplore how our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviour.\nLearn techniques to “unhook” from unhelpful thinking patterns.\nDevelop greater psychological flexibility and resilience.\n\nACT 3 (3 Weeks): Values\, Goals & Bringing It All Together \n\nIdentify your personal values and what matters most to you.\nSet meaningful goals aligned with those values.\nIntegrate all of the ACT skills learned throughout the program into a practical plan for everyday life.\n\n  \nProgram Information \n\nParticipants must complete the sessions in order (ACT 1 → ACT 2 → ACT 3).\nThe sessions do not need to be taken consecutively.
