Diabetes 101

About the Program

In this group class, you will learn about diabetes, how it is treated, and the potential problems it can cause for your health. You will also find out how to make changes to your daily life to help you control diabetes, such as managing your blood sugar level, taking care of your feet, and setting personal goals.

Our Team Includes:

  • your family doctor
  • Registered Dietitians
  • Registered Nurses
  • Pharmacists

We’ll work on:

Tools, skills, and discussion of various therapies to help you manage your diabetes symptoms and prevent complications.

How it works:

Join us for a 90-minute session to understand your options for living well and managing your diabetes.

After Program:

Take the Diabetes 201 class to learn more about managing your food and lifestyle with diabetes.

Our Diabetes 101 and 201 courses can be taken in any order.

Who is this course for?

If you:

  • have been diagnosed with diabetes
  • want to learn how to live well with diabetes
