When patients need to be referred to specialists, the wait can often be long and frustrating. The PCN is working to improve this process by centralizing the referral service, booking the referrals and providing the communication with patients, family physicians and specialists. We also have secured a number of specialists who now come to our community to provide these patient appointments.
Access to any of the specialty clinics is through referral only. This is facilitated by your family physician.
